About Us

We started Voleo because investing doesn’t have to be difficult, intimidating or overwhelming

Our mission:

To create an environment that breaks down the barriers of investing and empowers novice investors to take control of their financial future.

Starting or joining an investment club used to mean a lot of red tape, legal paperwork, and time-consuming meetings. Up until now, traditional brokerages avoided the investment club model at all costs because they weren’t as profitable as their individual accounts. With the current state of the market and the rise in social media usage, we think it’s time for change.

At Voleo we strive to make it easy to start and manage an investment clubs.

We believe that Investment Clubs are the answer to:

  • Removing Anxiety around Investing
    • Two heads are almost always better than one. Nothing seems as intimidating when you’re with a group of people you know and trust. That’s the idea behind our social investment clubs. You have the freedom to create a club with people you’re comfortable with, make group-based investment decisions, and watch your money grow together.
  • Improving Financial Literacy
    • For those with minimal experience, investment jargon can sound foreign. Voleo provides a variety of resources - including our app features, social media, and blog - dedicated to demystifying stock investing, so all of our users can feel comfortable and informed when making investments.
  • Eliminating Budget Constraints
    • When investing alone, a common constraint faced by new investors is limited capital. Voleo makes stock trading accessible by allowing your investment club to split commission fees and pool your money into one portfolio. This structure creates more opportunities to invest in blue chip stocks and/or to diversify your portfolio.
  • Making Smarter Investment Decisions
    • They say it takes a village to raise a child, and we believe the same goes for investment clubs. Trading together can ensure that adequate research is done before buying a stock, and that each customer is bringing diversity to your portfolio.
